Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Toluca is seeking an experienced Design & Release (D&R) Engineer to own the design, development, validation, and release of Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) and wiring harness assemblies from concept through production launch.

You will serve as the technical liaison between product engineering, manufacturing plants, and Tier-1 suppliers, ensuring that all wiring components meet functional, packaging, quality, and cost requirements in a hybrid work

Formación

• Experience in design, development, validation and release of electrical distribution systems and wiring harnesses.
• Ability to coordinate with product engineering, manufacturing plants and Tier-1 suppliers.
• Familiarity with PLM, BOM management and DFMEA processes.

Responsabilidades

• Design & Development: Lead 2D schematic creation and 3D routing for vehicle wiring harnesses and components.
• Engineering Release: Manage the release process of EDS components into production using PLM and BOM tools.
• Change Management: Drive ECRs and ECM processes, manage part-number updates and supplier changes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with packaging, manufacturing, safety, and vehicle integration teams.
• Validation & Quality: Support validation testing, teardown analysis and root-cause investigations; develop DVP&R and DFMEA docs.
• Cost & Manufacturability: Collaborate with suppliers on DFM initiatives to reduce cost without sacrificing quality.
