Oliver Wyman, a Marsh (NYSE: MRSH) business, seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure in a hybrid Mexico City office. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure availability, reliability, and performance of data systems using Databricks, SQL, and Python.

Requirements include 2+ years in data engineering or related roles, Databricks experience, and strong SQL/PLSQL, plus familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP and big data tech.

Formación

• Bachelor's or MS in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, CS, or information systems.
• 2+ years in data engineering, software development, or related roles.
• 2+ years hands-on Databricks and ETL tool experience (e.g., SSIS, ADF, Alteryx, Knime).
• 2+ years SQL/PLSQL development experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Proficiency in Python or R for data tasks.
• Ability to create visualizations with Tableau or Power BI.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models for BI tools.
• Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for data collection, transformation, and delivery.
• Implement systems to monitor and ensure data quality across production sources.
• Design data integrations and data quality frameworks with governance principles.
• Partner with business and engineering teams to shape long-term data platform architecture.
• Document technical designs, workflows and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers when needed.
