Job summary

Valeo seeks a proactive HSE Trainee/Apprentice at our site to support the Health, Safety, Security and Environment program. You will help ensure equipment compliance, participate in risk analyses, and contribute to the development and enforcement of HSE procedures on site.

The role offers exposure to a global automotive technology company and opportunities for growth within a diverse, international team. Trainee/Internship status implies fixed-term engagement with hands-on learning across safety

Qualifications

• Familiar with workplace safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to perform risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Experience supporting HSE programs and audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify safety and security equipment compliance and condition.
• Conduct risk analyses and monitor regulatory surveys.
• Develop and oversee Health, Safety, Security and Environment procedures at the site.
• Perform inspections and internal audits, provide recommendations and assign responsibilities.
• Follow-up on non-conformities from audits, audits, and external reviews with required actions.
• Stay updated on applicable legislation and safety requirements.

1. Check that safety and security equipments are in compliance with requirements and in good condition
2. Carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey
3. Establish the site "Health, Safety, Security and Environment" operation procedures and oversee their application
4. Carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it
5. Implement and monitor action relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by the inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account.
6. Be aware of developments in the legislation.
