Job summary

Valeo is seeking an HSE Trainee/Apprentice at our Querétaro site. The role supports the Site HSE team in day-to-day safety activities, audits, and the implementation of HSE procedures within a multicultural, collaborative environment.

The position is a full-time trainee/internship, with the potential to grow as you gain experience while contributing to safety improvements at the site. We value safety and environmental responsibility in our automotive technology practices.

Qualifications

• Safety and security equipment must be compliant and in good condition.
• Carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey.
• Establish site Health, Safety, and Environment procedures and oversee their application.
• Perform inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and assign responsibilities for implementation.
• Identify and implement actions related to non-compliance revealed by audits, inspections, and external reviews, considering necessary investments.
• Stay informed about evolving legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site HSE team in day-to-day safety activities.
• Assist in the rollout of HSE procedures at the Queretaro site.
• Participate in audits and corrective action follow-ups.
• Contribute to safety training and awareness initiatives at the site.
