Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV in Mexico is seeking a motivated Safety and Hygiene Intern to support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department. The role assists in maintaining a safe, compliant working environment for all employees at Valeo.

The position is a part-time, fixed-term trainee role within the Site HSE team, focusing on implementing EHS policies, inspections, training, and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong interest in safety, hygiene, and environmental protection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual Spanish and English desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of EHS policies and procedures.
• Support the coordination of safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Help maintain EHS documentation, including accident reports, safety training records, and compliance logs.
• Participate in the investigation of incidents and near-misses, helping to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.
• Support the EHS team in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Contribute to the promotion of a strong safety culture within the organization.
• Perform other EHS-related duties as assigned.
