BRP in Ciudad Juárez seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead the health, safety, and environmental program. You will develop, implement, and maintain systems, lead audits, and partner with multiple departments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, ISO 45001 familiarity, and the ability to train teams, investigate incidents, and drive safe practices across operations.

Formación

  • Degree in engineering or related field with EHS experience.
  • English proficiency required for interactions with authorities and teams.
  • Experience with ISO 45001 internal audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of EHS legislation and government procedures.
  • Experience in risk assessment and management.
  • Experience documenting and maintaining EHS programs and records.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead a team implementing health, safety, and environmental programs.
  • Partner with multiple departments across the company.
  • Develop strategies to improve safety metrics and reduce environmental footprint.
  • Maintain site and corporate EHS metrics and report to various stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental programs.
  • Assist inspectors and government representatives.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and drive corrective actions.
  • Collect and maintain information from risk, waste, audits, and reports.
  • Provide training on Health, Safety, and the Environment.

Descripción del empleo

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
  • Develops, implements, and maintains the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System.
  • Leads internal and external audits, coordinates action plans, and closes findings.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental laws.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • Industrial or environmental engineering, chemical biology, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working in EHS.
  • Proficiency in English.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Project development, research, leadership, and management skills.
  • Knowledge of environmental, health and safety legislation.
  • Experience handling procedures before government agencies.
  • Internal auditor ISO 45001.
  • 5 years of experience in HSE Management Systems.
  • Statistical knowledge of lean tools.
  • Ergonomics and safe handling of machinery and equipment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead a team responsible for ensuring the implementation of various programs and activities related to health, safety, and the environment.
  • Business partner in different areas and departments of the company.
  • Generate and promote strategies aimed at improving indicators to provide a safe environment and reduce the environmental footprint.
  • Maintain site and corporate metrics and report them according to the needs of meetings and departments.
  • Verify compliance with and adherence to health, safety, and environmental programs.
  • Assist inspectors and representatives from the government.
  • Conduct, coordinate, and participate in internal and external audits and ensure completion of corrective actions.
  • Collect, document, and maintain relevant information from department areas: risk management, waste management (air, soil, water, etc.), audits, corporate reports, etc.
  • Generate risk assessment and management strategies.
  • Provide training on Health, Safety, and the Environment, guide teams to ensure timely compliance, and promote learning.
  • Provide guidance and participate in implementation and documentation of high-risk procedures and formats (contractors, work at height, cutting and welding, LOTO, electricity, confined spaces) including change control.
  • Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) for ISO 9001:2010.
