Celestica Inc. is seeking an HR Associate in Monterrey to support compensation, benefits, and development programs. You will interact with management and staff, assist with benefits questions, and help generate HR reports.

The role requires up to two years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Strong communication, data handling, and HRIS skills are essential for success.

Summary
Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Communicates and facilitates processes and procedures related to compensation (e.g., merit increases, PDP ratings, team incentive plan), training & development (e.g., corporate development initiatives, management and employee development), benefits (e.g., open enrollment, integration of new employees into benefit plan), Aff…
  • Communicates program changes to management team and to employees.
  • Assists employees with questions or problems related to benefits plans.
  • Partners with managers and Service Center personnel to resolve problems related to employee benefits, payroll, staffing, disability, workers compensation, awards, immigration processing, etc.
  • Supports activities regarding legal and regulatory impact of program changes.
  • Generates reports as requested.
  • Gathers information as requested. (e.g., PDP ratings, merit increases).
  • Significant knowledge of legislation impacting the practice of human resources management.
  • Significant knowledge of company HR policies and practices, labor movement, arbitration proceedings.
  • Knowledge of local HRIS system and report writing.
  • Good public presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct a thorough, timely and unbiased internal investigation and provide practical recommendations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers.
  • Ability to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects.
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.
  • Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Physical Demands
  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

  • Zero to two years of relevant experience.
Typical Education
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
