Responsibilities

• Realizar pruebas remotas y diagnóstico de equipos biomédicos.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform remote diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of various biomedical equipment, including patient monitors, infusion pumps, defibrillators, and diagnostic imaging devices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to hospital biomedical staff on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to guide troubleshooting and repair procedures.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance for medical devices.
• Document all service activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and test results, in a detailed manner.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in biomedical technology and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to resolve complex equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and healthcare standards.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective remote support.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a biomedical equipment technician or in a similar technical support role.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, medical device hardware, and software.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of medical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical documentation and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
