Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in hotel development and real estate construction to lead complex projects from inception to completion.

The role requires strategic thinking and hands-on leadership to manage all phases, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards, while maintaining robust project controls and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction management, with hotel development, commercial real estate, and mixed-use projects.
• Experience in base building and fit-out for retail, hospitality, and shopping centres.
• Knowledge of local and international building codes and PMI/PMP is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of hotel and real estate construction projects.
• Develop construction strategies, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Oversee all on-site and off-site construction activities with safety compliance.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Review construction plans and documentation for contractual alignment.
• Identify design changes and resolve technical disputes.
• Ensure adherence to the project quality plan and conduct audits.
• Provide input during design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Support engineering and operations teams with construction issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety considerations across phases.
• Maintain relationships with developers, architects, consultants, and authorities.
