Semtech's Signal Integrity division seeks a Digital Verification Engineer to contribute to development of advanced digital subsystems within mixed signal ICs. You will verify high-speed digital circuits, model analog behavior, and collaborate across discipline teams to meet performance goals.

The role requires strong communication, energy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to mentor others and improve verification processes.

Formación

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
• Knowledge of constrained random verification methodologies (UVM/OVM/AVM/VMM).
• Proficiency with object oriented languages; SystemVerilog preferred.
• Programming/scripting: Python, TCL, Perl, C.
• Knowledge of PC/Unix/Linux OS.
• Understanding of digital verification methods.

Responsabilidades

• Functional verification of high-speed digital circuits using constrained random verification (50%).
• Behavioral modeling of analog circuits and mixed-signal simulation (10%).
• Create product and technical documents (5%).
• Prepare project plans and schedules (2%).
• Provide technical guidance of verification tasks within a project team (5%).
• Collaborate with analog, firmware, system engineers and marketing to meet requirements (8%).
• Support validation and qualification with Validation, Test and Product Engineers (5%).
• Provide leadership, mentoring to other engineers (5%).
• Improve verification methodology and productivity (10%).
