About the Role

Tecla is looking for a hands‑on Head of SEO and PPC to own our SEO, Paid Media, and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) programs. You’ll drive measurable growth in qualified traffic, leads, and conversions across our digital channels.

This is a high‑impact, full‑time remote role open to candidates across Latin America. You’ll report to our U.S.-based Marketing Lead and collaborate daily with Tecla’s designer, web developer, and marketing team.

If you’re a data‑driven marketer who lives and breathes search, loves testing and optimizing, and knows how to turn web traffic into pipeline — this is a great opportunity to lead the performance marketing engine of a fast‑growing U.S. tech company.

Responsibilities
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on ranking for high‑intent keywords and generating qualified leads.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content audits to uncover ranking opportunities.
  • Optimize on‑page SEO elements including copy, metadata, internal linking, and schema.
  • Track and improve technical SEO performance (Core Web Vitals, crawlability, redirects, etc.) in collaboration with our web developer.
  • Manage link‑building and site authority initiatives.
  • Provide SEO guidance for landing pages, blogs, and new site content.
Paid Media (PPC)
  • Plan, launch, and optimize Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid search campaigns.
  • Write and test ad copy and headlines to maximize conversions while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Build and optimize landing pages in collaboration with the marketing and design team.
  • Manage budgets, track ROI, and reduce Cost Per Lead (CPL) through ongoing optimization.
  • Run retargeting campaigns to re‑engage high‑value audiences and site visitors.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
  • Lead A/B testing and experimentation across pages, forms, and CTAs to improve conversion rates.
  • Use Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar tools to analyze user behavior and identify friction points.
  • Partner with the web developer to implement design or UX improvements.
  • Deliver monthly insights and recommendations for continuous performance improvement.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing with strong focus on SEO, Paid Search, and CRO.
  • Proven success improving organic rankings, traffic quality, and conversion rates.
  • Hands‑on expertise with Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Ads, GA4, Hotjar, and related tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and data‑driven mindset.
  • Experience writing and editing marketing copy that performs well in search and paid ads.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable collaborating remotely across time zones (U.S. Central Time alignment preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
  • Full‑time, remote position (Latin America)
  • Competitive USD‑based compensation, aligned with experience and location
  • Flexible PTO policy and paid holidays
  • Long‑term growth opportunity within Tecla’s global marketing team
Key Metrics for Success
  • Growth in qualified organic traffic
  • Increase in SEO‑and PPC‑driven lead volume
  • Reduction in Cost Per Lead (CPL)
  • Improvement in conversion rate across key pages
  • Increased pipeline contribution from inbound channels
