Job summary

BMW Group in San Luis Potosí is seeking an Advanced Specialist Metrology to lead GOM measurement operations and the TEM production ramp-up. You will oversee metrology facilities and drive quality, calibration, and policy development to ensure high measurement accuracy.

You will manage a team of metrologists, collaborate with engineering and production, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing and operating metrology operations.
• Fluent business English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Oversee ramp-up during the ramp-up phase and during series production for qualitative target achievement and evaluation of functional dimensions concepts.
• Manage daily operations of GOM measurement facilities, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement metrology measurement policies, procedures and best practices.
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing training on metrology practices and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance and production to meet measurement requirements.
• Ensure all activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
• Plan maintenance and calibration activities.
