A leading localization company is seeking a Globalization Project Manager located in Mexico. This role involves managing localization projects autonomously, requiring native fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience. Candidates should be culturally aware and effective in diverse teams. This is a fully remote, 4-12 month contract opportunity.

Globalization Project Manager - Mexico

About the role

A successful candidate is a highly motivated individual who works comfortably and autonomously in a fast-paced environment. You have a demonstrated ability to manage priorities and projects, with the right mix of organizational and communication skills. You will use your localization experience and expertise to manage localization projects interacting with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and linguists. You will also work cross-functionally with Cloudflare stakeholders to implement globalization-related solutions for the business.

This is a fully remote 4-12 month contract opportunity.

What you’ll do

• Support and manage localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with external vendors, internal stakeholders, other localization PMs, and other departments
• Evangelize external vendors about the existing localization processes and technology to adopt lean projects and behaviors
• Supervise project status and enforce communication channels to secure timely deliveries
• Execute project QA checks to deliver high-quality localized content and products
• Assist in removing blockers in daily localization-related operations
• Assist EMEA localization project overflows and hand off overflows to APJC teams

Desired skills / experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Localization or Project Management required.
• Located in Mexico.
• Native fluency in at least one foreign language and culture required (Spanish and / or Portuguese preferred)
• Minimum 3+ years of localization project management experience, ideally on both client and vendor sides
• Familiar with the Internet, IT, and Cybersecurity industries
• Hands‑on experience with web and asset localization, common CMS platforms and localization file types required (Smartling, Marketo, Contentful, etc.)
• Familiarity with the following tools is a plus : Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), Google Docs, Google Sheets
• Culturally aware and highly effective in engaging and working with a diverse team
• Ability to work across time zones with multiple teams and cultures
• Flexible schedule to align to Pacific Time (PT / PST)
