Job summary

Metso seeks an Upgrade Proposals Manager for the Crushing Service Products line. You will lead a global team of three Proposal Engineers and own end-to-end preparation of upgrade and capital equipment proposals, guiding strategy and ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.

You will collaborate across Sales, Engineering, Finance and Legal to define scope, pricing and lead times, drive bid/no-bid decisions, and develop governance, templates and best practices to win strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in proposal management or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Mining, or Business.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Strong hands-on proposal experience including RFQ review, scope definition, pricing and bid submission.
• Knowledge of crushing equipment, upgrade proposals and mining products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of three Proposal Engineers.
• Own proposals from RFQ review through submission and handover to execution.
• Manage proposal governance, standards, templates and pricing methodologies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Market Areas, Product Groups, Engineering and Sourcing to deliver competitive offers.
• Drive bid/no-bid decisions and risk assessments.
• Develop capabilities of the proposal team and partner organizations.
