A leading aerospace and defense company in Mexicali is seeking a customs compliance manager to oversee IMMEX program compliance and manage a team of customs professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Mexican customs law, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing import/export activities. This role offers a dynamic work environment focused on innovation and challenges in the aerospace industry.

Formación

• Typically requires a university degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• 10 years of experience in maquiladora, customs law, and IMMEX decree.
• Proven experience in annex 24 reconciliation.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain IMMEX program compliance.
• Develop internal import and export controls.
• Oversee import / export activities to maintain compliance.

Conocimientos

Proficient conversational and written English

Leadership skills

Strong knowledge of Mexican customs law

Experience in maquiladora and customs law

Experience with U.S. duty mitigation programs

Educación

University degree or advanced degree in a related field
