International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. is seeking a Global Specialist in Regulatory Affairs to conduct regulatory reviews of raw materials for flavors and food ingredients.

The role supports multiple functions with regulatory guidance and ensures compliance across the product lifecycle. The position is remote with the role based in Tlalnepantla, Mexico, requiring a bachelor’s degree in a science field and at least 4 years of regulatory experience in related industries.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or another science-related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years in regulatory compliance within the food, flavor, ingredient, chemical, or related industries.
• Knowledge of global food ingredient, flavor, and raw material regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret regulatory information.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regulatory compliance reviews of raw materials used in flavors, food ingredients, and related products.
• Obtain, review, and evaluate supplier documentation to determine ingredient compliance and approval status.
• Assess regulatory, scientific, and technical information against global regulations, customer requirements, and internal policies.
• Support R&D, Creative, Quality Assurance, Production, and other functions with regulatory guidance.
• Identify potential compliance risks and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Maintain regulatory records, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Support the evaluation and introduction of new raw materials into the company portfolio.
• Manage multiple compliance reviews while meeting project timelines and business priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
