Medline in Mexicali is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to oversee approximately $100 million in annual purchases, driving best-cost negotiations and supply stability. The role collaborates with product management on new launches and sourcing strategies to optimize costs.

You will negotiate terms with suppliers, manage categories including raw materials, and provide strategic insights on geopolitical and regulatory changes impacting tariffs and procurement.

Formación

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Administration.
• 3–5 years of sourcing experience.
• Experience leading category strategies, supplier relationship management and sourcing initiatives.
• Experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices and reconciling differences.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data to drive improvement of results.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and manage product categories.
• Resolve quality issues and evaluate sourcing strategies for domestic and international suppliers.
• Manage direct spend categories to drive best-cost, supply continuity and risk reduction.
• Provide strategic insights on global and geopolitical changes impacting costs and tariffs.
• Develop strategies to overcome obstacles driving higher costs and supply instability.
• Support product management on new launches and cost-down initiatives.
