Job summary

Gowan Company is seeking a Regulatory Manager to oversee regulatory activities for a diverse portfolio of active ingredients and end-use products. You will coordinate global/regional activities and align submissions with business strategies, working with cross-functional teams and regulatory authorities to ensure high-quality registrations.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge in plant protection, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead complex projects across geographies

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory role in plant protection industry (5+ years).
• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology or related science field preferred.
• Knowledge of regional/country registration requirements/policies/procedures is required.
• Demonstrated ability to write and orally communicate technical issues.
• Successful experience managing regulatory issues for active ingredients.
• Detail oriented with leadership and strong interpersonal/communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory activities for the product portfolio, including new/current actives and uses in specific geographies.
• Implement product registration strategies to align with business plans and meet growers'/end-users' needs.
• Collaborate with Asset leads, Development, Marketing and cross-functional teams to meet regulatory expectations.
• Manage portfolio budget stewardship and provide monthly updates to Regulatory Asset leads.
• With Regulatory country managers, ensure submissions are high quality and compliant with regulations.
• Serve as primary regulatory liaison for assigned projects with professionalism and efficiency.
• Communicate regulatory information across the company and interpret commercial implications.
