FORTNA is seeking a Project Controller to implement project control methods and oversee the financial performance of Client projects. The role also involves guidance on international purchases, importing and tax matters, with regular interaction across management levels.

You will drive earned value processes, coordinate with project accountants, and support finance and procurement on cross-border activities, ensuring compliant and efficient project execution.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 3–8 years related accounting experience
• Advanced English
• Ability to work in a high-growth environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general business software
• Interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~5%)
• Ability to perform essential job functions

Responsabilidades

• Manage the financial aspects of assigned Client projects in support of the delivery project manager.
• Provide support for international projects including contract development and conformance with company standards, risk mitigation, project reporting and status.
• Implement effective earned value and performance measurement processes with the project management team.
• Interface with project accountants assigned as support on projects.
• Support Finance with international tax reporting issues (corporate and individual).
• Support Procurement on international purchases, importing, duties, etc.
• Communicate contract documents, change orders and modifications to project managers.
• Analyze project variances including delayed collections and forecasted cost overruns.
• Communicate insights to management and maintain open issue resolution.
• Implement agreed-upon process improvements to project controls / earned value functions.
