Hutchinson Seal de México, S.A. de C.V. in Ensenada seeks a Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, tools, and services. You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely supply and cost-effective solutions.

The role requires 1–3 years in Purchasing/Procurement, experience in manufacturing (auto preferred), and solid knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and Excel. Intermediate to advanced English helps communicate with international suppliers.

Formación

• 1-3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Materials Planning.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably automotive.
• English proficiency level: intermediate to advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and monitor purchase orders through the MRP system.
• Analyze and execute procurement activities to ensure timely supply of raw materials, consumables, tools, and services.
• Coordinate domestic and international purchasing activities.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost objectives.
• Negotiate commercial terms, delivery schedules, and supply alternatives.
• Monitor inventory levels and contribute to the prevention of material shortages.
• Actively participate in supply chain continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Finance teams.
• Evaluate supplier performance and develop long-term business relationships.
• Monitor production forecasts to ensure material availability and prevent operational disruptions.
