Job summary

Scale is building a Procurement function from the ground up in a fast-growing, IPO-focused AI company. The role helps define sourcing, approvals, and spend controls across regions, ensuring compliance and efficient operations.

You will work with P2P and Finance teams to implement policies, maintain a centralized vendor repository, and support audits while enabling scalable procurement across cloud, software, hardware, and services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or a related P2P function.
• Hands-on experience with Coupa and Zip or other modern procurement and AP tools.
• Familiarity with corporate procurement policies, guidelines, and internal controls.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing operations across spend categories (software, cloud, professional services, hardware, facilities).
• Review purchase requests for completeness, budget and policy compliance before approval.
• Issue and track purchase orders, and follow up with suppliers on delivery, pricing, and service levels.
• Support RFQ/RFP processes: gather requirements, solicit bids, document selection rationale; assist negotiations.
• Support multi-currency and cross-border purchasing across regions.
