Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in business and/or Engineering or related field.
• 4 or more years in supply chain areas preferably in procurement.
• English: Fully bilingual.
• Schedule flexibility and traveling availability (USA- Visa).
• Preferred: Working with global staff.

Responsibilities

• Material availability, inventory and cost objectives.
• Plan and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers, execute exception messages, and coordinate direct global shipments of parts.
• Follow-up or expedite material with suppliers to ensure needs met.
• Partner with sourcing specialist to monitor supplier levels and delivery performance; work with underperforming suppliers for improvement.
• Collaborate with sourcing specialist to improve supplier lead-time for inventory and customer service objectives.
• Analyze slow/ nonmoving/ excess inventory and take actions to optimize.
• Evaluate best shipment modes with Logistics to reduce logistic cost.
• Maintain delivery dates, quantities, and attributes of part numbers for raw material planning.
• Anticipate potential shortages and define corrective actions while informing promptly.
• Microsoft Office, MRP environments, APICS
• Lead with a focus on continuous improvement.
