FORVIA invites recent graduates to join the VIE program as Commodity Buyer VIE - Metal & Mechatronics, based at our Puebla, Mexico headquarters. You will support deployment of the commodity strategy by managing suppliers, conducting RFQs, negotiations, and ensuring performance across cost, quality and delivery.

The assignment lasts 1 year and may be extended to a total of 2 years. English is mandatory for global communication; a Master’s or Engineering degree in purchasing is required, with 2–3

• English language is mandatory for global communication.
• Master’s degree or Engineering diploma in purchasing.
• Minimum 2–3 years purchasing experience (Automotive or capital equipment preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Manage assigned suppliers, including RFQs, negotiations and sourcing activities.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, delivery and supply continuity.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze market trends and anticipate supplier risks.
• Coordinate with Programs, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Plants, including regular supplier visits and progress reporting.
