Eaton’s Corporate Sector division seeks a Category Manager, Machining (ES-A & GEIS) to lead the development and deployment of the global Machining category strategy in the Americas. You will drive cost management, supplier relationships, and value engineering to optimize a $70M spend.

The role requires 7–10 years in supply chain, category management, procurement or operations, a Bachelor's degree, and strong negotiation, analytics, and cross‑functional influence to deliver sustainable

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 7–10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Category Management, Procurement, or Operations.
• Knowledge of the turned parts category and technology trends.
• Ability to negotiate based on data-driven insights.

Responsabilidades

• Initiate and execute strategic initiatives to drive cross-business synergies with suppliers.
• Negotiate and manage key strategic supplier contracts.
• Monitor compliance to category agreements and strategies.
• Forecast commodity projections and develop mitigation actions.
• Present planning tools and procurement opportunities to senior management.
• Benchmark procurement processes and implement best practices.
• Ensure supplier compliance with sustainability programs.
• Plan annual profit for owned spend with cross-functional teams.
• Lead Supplier Business Reviews with strategic suppliers.
