Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Global Continuous Improvement & Lean Deployment leader to drive Lean methodologies, standard work, and cost-saving initiatives across its worldwide manufacturing plants.

You will partner with operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain to identify opportunities, run improvement events, and implement standardized processes with a focus on digital analytics and a long-term CI roadmap.

Qualifications

• This role supports continuous improvement, cost savings, and process standardization across all plants globally.
• Reported through the Global Manufacturing organization within Supply Chain and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work) across all global manufacturing plants.
• Identify waste, inefficiencies, and variation in processes, and implement sustainable countermeasures.
• Facilitate hands-on improvement events and workshops with plant teams to deliver measurable performance gains in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop and execute initiatives that deliver year-over-year cost savings aligned with organizational targets.
• Partner with plant leadership, engineering, and finance to prioritize, track, and validate savings projects.
• Lead a cross-plant initiative to reduce assembly cycle time by standardizing work and optimizing line balancing, resulting in measurable labor and throughput improvements.
• Establish, document, and deploy standardized processes and operating procedures across the global manufacturing network.
• Ensure consistency in tools, metrics, and reporting to enable benchmarking and performance transparency.
• Drive adoption of best practices by collaborating with site leaders and leveraging internal networks.
• Work closely with operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to align improvement initiatives with business priorities.
• Serve as a key liaison within the Global Manufacturing organization to ensure consistent execution of strategic initiatives.
• Partner with multiple sites to implement a common production management system, improving visibility and accountability across regions.
• Coach and mentor plant teams on Lean principles, tools, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
• Support training programs and development of internal CI champions.
• Support the evolution toward a more digitally enabled and data-driven manufacturing environment.
• Expand standardization efforts to enable scalability, automation, and advanced analytics integration.
• Play a key role in shaping the long-term global manufacturing strategy and CI roadmap.
