Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Global Commodity Strategist to develop, implement, and measure a comprehensive commodity strategy aligned with business objectives. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive market-based sourcing decisions across multiple business units to achieve best total cost of ownership.

The role requires deep commodity knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams while upholding corporate social responsibility

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of assigned commodity(s) both technical and commercial.
• Contract management and negotiations.
• Basic finance understanding of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and measure a Global Commodity Strategy and Business plan.
• Demonstrate expertise in assigned commodities and supply chain management.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and terms to maximize value.
• Analyze market conditions and implement supply chain strategies for cost competitiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across the organization.
