Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Global Commodity Manager to develop, implement, and measure a comprehensive commodity strategy aligned with business needs across sectors and regions. You will lead supplier development, price management, and supplier risk mitigation to ensure total cost of ownership optimization.

The role requires deep commodity expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record in negotiating favorable terms while supporting CSR and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of assigned commodity(s) both technical and commercial.
• Contract management and negotiations (Purchase Agreement, Inventory management initiatives etc.)
• Basic finance (understand and evaluate a Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow statement)
• Understanding of MRP

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and measure a Global Commodity Strategy and Business plan that fully meets the needs of the Company.
• Demonstrate expertise in assigned commodities and fully competent in all aspects of supply chain Management.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and manage supplier relationships.
• Analyze market conditions and implement supply chain strategies to assure supply and price competitiveness.
