Ericsson in Mexico City is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support monthly, quarterly and year-end closings. You will prepare P&Ls by department, reconcile accounts, and coordinate with business partners across functions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, 2–4+ years in corporate accounting, advanced Excel, and experience with Oracle Fusion or SAP. CPA preferred and ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification.
  • 2–4+ years of corporate accounting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to build financial models.

Responsabilidades

  • Record, verify, consolidate and post accounting transactions.
  • Close monthly, quarterly and year-end books with journal entries.
  • Prepare department P&Ls and coordinate reclassifications and accruals.
  • Create and review account reconciliations; investigate variances.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and process improvements.

We protect company assets, both tangible and intangible, ensure compliance with international financial regulations, and serve as a trusted business partner on matters requiring economic, financial, and fiduciary expertise.Why this Role MattersCorporate Accounting ensures Financial Statements are prepared and submitted in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting and Company policies. Due to strict deadlines across the organization, we perform our tasks in the most efficient way possible while maintaining accuracy and necessary strong partnership across the Group.What you will do, but not limited to:Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing tasks including journal entries for prepaids, expense accruals, lease accounting and other items.Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing tasks for fixed assets including CIP, additions, disposals, impairment reviews and journal entries.Liaise with various stakeholder to gather relevant info related to prepaids and expense accruals.Preparation of Account Reconciliations in support of the financial statements.Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances on a timely basis.Prepare monthly P&Ls by department and share with the business partners for reclasses and accruals.Creation of Purchase Orders for the US entities and any other ad hoc items.Preparing and filling out annual business surveys of different entities.Be a key team member to streamline and improve process.Ad hoc requests as needed.What you will bringDemonstrated experience creating financial spreadsheets, charts and reportsExcellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills with ability to confidently and effectively communicate to all levels of the companyPositive attitude and ability to work well within a team environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving skills.Experience extracting statistical and informative reports from a financial system.Comfort in communicating complex financial information to non-financial audiences and decision makersAnalytical skills to evaluate and interpret financial informationKnowledge of accounting and related data management systems,Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesWhat is required for applicationBachelor Degree requiredMinimum 2 - 4+ years required in Corporate AccountingCPA PreferredOracle Fusion, Smartview experience preferred (Multi facet accounting software I.e.
