AgileEngine in Puebla, MX is seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to architect and manage cloud infrastructure using GKE, Cloud Run, and Terraform. You will lead the AWS-to-GCP migration, assess workloads, define target architectures, and drive production cutover with robust CI/CD via Azure DevOps.

The role requires 4+ years in cloud engineering focused on GCP, strong Terraform expertise, and scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Cloud Engineering with a focus on GCP
• Strong knowledge of GCP services: GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Load Balancing
• Experience with GKE, Docker, GKE networking, and Helm
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD automation
• Proficiency in Terraform for provisioning cloud resources
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, and compliance standards
• Experience with at least one real AWS-to-GCP migration project
• Comfort delivering production-quality code with AI coding assistants

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain GCP resources via Terraform or automation
• Implement Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Filestore
• Configure Cloud Load Balancers for high availability
• Design cloud networking, IAM, security, and landing zones
• Optimize resource usage and cost across GCP environments
• Deploy and optimize workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Work with Helm charts for microservices deployments
• Automate scaling, rolling updates, and zero-downtime deployments
• Migrate Kubernetes workloads across clouds (AWS EKS to GKE)
• Manage applications on Cloud Run and Cloud Functions
• Optimize containerized apps for cost and performance
• CI/CD: design and manage pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Automate infrastructure deployment with Terraform, Bash, PowerShell
• Incorporate DevSecOps checks into pipelines
• Migrate or redesign pipelines during AWS-to-GCP transition
• Support reliability, performance, and scalability during migration
