Job summary

QIMA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Torreón to join our operations team. You will report to an Operations Manager and ensure inspections meet QIMA standards while coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and adherence to quality procedures in a fast-paced environment. The position is office and field based, with emphasis on detail and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality management, especially softlines/ garments/ textiles/ footwear (2 years or more).
• Knowledge of AQL standards and related safety/quality regulations.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong professional ethics and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Check email daily to receive inspection documents and guidelines.
• Attend inspections on time and communicate with supplier professionally.
• Perform inspections of merchandise and supervise container stuffing per procedures.
• Prepare and fulfill inspection reports within defined timelines.
