Stellantis Saltillo Complex seeks an experienced engineer to drive SPW progress, Capex on STAP & SVAP, and cost-saving initiatives through communization tools and new product projects.

The role covers leading investment programs for VF, STAP, and SVAP, including model launches, process definition, and tool validation with Engineering Standards and lean methods.

Formación

  • 5+ years of experience in the required fields.
  • Graduated as Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineer.
  • NX Modeling Software for simulation.
  • NAAMS.
  • GD&T.
  • Process Design.
  • Hand & Electrical tool selection.
  • High level English.
  • PFMEAS.
  • Tool & Facilities process design.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead investment projects for SVAP and STAP across all areas.
  • Coordinate new process, fixtures, equipment and training for Saltillo models.
  • Develop investment projects for Saltillo Truck and Van plants.
  • Implement WCM/WCT tools to solve problems.
  • Process simulation and digital analysis using NX.
  • Train VPE on quality and process tools.

Descripción del empleo


  • Lead with SPW under progress implementation, Capex implementation on STAP & SVAP with saving cost Objectives with communization tools, facilities ( ergo arms, torque tubes and sub-assy systems ) for new products at Stellantis. Saltillo Complex.

  • Lead to develop all investment projects for SVAP (VF) & STAP (D truck family) for all areas trim, chassis and Final.

  • Leader for the new project type A implementation (New Models) on chassis for the electrical vehicles in Premaster Plant for VF (considering ,new volumes, new process , investment, feasibility product analysis, tool, fixtures , facilities , check fixtures for the process definition using the Engineering Standards, AGV selection , AGC selection , production simulation definition , decking systems , ergonomics, cost investment reduction with product & process improvement and innovation , lesson learns implementation, installation timing definition by priorities, WCM ,WCT ,workbook deliverables, major kaizen develop, audit advances process, lean manufacturing, safety procedures, process simulation ,Critical feasibility Studies solution for Engineering and Manufacturing ,

  • Risk Assessment development with the financial cost deployment data to eliminate loose (Delivery impact, Lack of Material, Quality Impact, Labor Impact Maintenance) to increase the STAP & SVAP efficiency on the Engine Dress and Chassis Line.

  • Health Assessment support for the Maintenance Team to identify the process and Machinery high risk to stop, micro stops, breakdowns on the engine dress and chassis main line facilities ( STAP & SVAP) and equipment’s and help to reduce the critical loses by these concepts.

  • Process simulation and tool process digital analysis by NX evaluation and critical design issues identify with Engineering before approvals and release designs.

  • Training VPE personnel and solver quality and process critical issues (GD&T, NAAMS, PC –DMIS, NX, Advanced Kaizen, One Page Report, Ecmm, AMPS Do’s & Don’ts, ODIMS ,PFMEAS, Error & Mistake Proofing, ODCICS2,Tool specification develop, Design Tools/Fixture/Machines review Process etc.)

  • Coordination of implementation the all-new Process, Fixtures, Equipment’s and Training for new models at Saltillo Assembly Plants (SVAP & STAP) to cover the Quality and Engineering Requirements for the models changes for vertical launching.

  • Develop DJ/D2/DD/DP and VF Investment project for Saltillo Truck and Van Assembly Plants

  • Implement the WCM & WCT tools to solve problems. (Advanced Kaizen, Major Kaizen, 5G, 5w, 5w1h, 4M, 4M1D, etc.) at STAP & SVAP.

  • Develop the Glide path for CP & CPK, Kaizen Control.

  • DMA (DIGITAL MOCKUP & ASSEMBLY) process Validation before Engineering Changes Notice.

  • Coordination for the tool/fixtures and equipment’s installation to process lines for vertical a vertical launching.
