We invite applications for a Full-Time Professor in Industrial Engineering (IE) (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank) specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. Ideal candidates will apply AI methodologies to optimize supply chain management, logistics, data analytics, or operational excellence (with a focus on Quality). The role requires driving high-impact research, securing competitive funding, and delivering outstanding AI-enhanced curricula at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Location: Monterrey Campus, Mexico
AI Research Leadership
Develop and lead internationally recognized AI research programs in industrial engineering contexts.
Publish in top-tier AI/IE/engineering/management journals and secure national/international grants.
AI and IE- Enhanced Teaching Excellence
Design and deliver innovative courses integrating AI (machine learning, optimization, predictive analytics) into industrial engineering, logistics, operations research and quality.
Mentor students through hands-on projects, hands-on IE topic-related challenges and laboratory work.
Supervise Master’s and PhD projects in a collaborative, inclusive research environment.
Create AI-driven teaching materials for IE, digital simulations, and case studies to enhance learning outcomes.
Partner with technology companies and government bodies to translate AI research into practice and co-develop real-world solutions.
PhD in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a closely related field.
Experience in Industry will be considered an asset.
Proven publication history in high-impact IE/AI/ML/engineering journals and success in securing AI-focused external funding.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching IE subjects; experience developing AI curricula/labs is highly desirable.
Professional fluency in English (minimum B2/TOEFL 550).
Commitment to achieving an intermediate level of Spanish language proficiency (B1) in two years.
Experience leading interdisciplinary AI teams and collaborating with industrial partners.
