Tecnológico de Monterrey invites applications for a Full-Time Faculty Member in Computer Science. You will be part of the School of Engineering and Sciences in Monterrey, contributing to education, research, and innovation to train the next generation of technology leaders.

The role emphasizes AI, software engineering, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital product development, with opportunities to collaborate with industry and publish research.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred: Top 50 university worldwide; minimum Top 100.
• 3+ years of experience in teaching, academia, research, technology development, consulting, or digital product management.
• Experience in Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Systems, Data Processing, or Digital Product Development.

Responsabilidades

• Teach, conduct research, educational innovation, and external engagement activities within the School of Engineering and Sciences.
• Design and update courses, certificates, and academic programs in strategic areas of Computer Science.
• Collaborate with faculty, program directors, and industry partners to develop applied projects and student experiences.
• Participate in conferences, publications, and knowledge-generation projects with academic and technological impact.

1. What will you do?

As a Full-Time Faculty Member in Computer Science, you will be part of the School of Engineering and Sciences, contributing to the education and development of professionals who will create the technological solutions of the future.

You will participate in teaching, research, educational innovation, and external engagement activities, with an emphasis on areas such as:

• Software Engineering and Software Development
• Systems Architecture and Design
• Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning
• Information Systems and Data Processing
• Digital Product Development and Management
• Cloud Computing
• Educational Technologies and Digital Transformation
• Cybersecurity and Systems Integration

2. How will you do it?

Your main challenges will include:

• Designing and delivering innovative learning experiences, connecting Computer Science fundamentals with current technological applications and challenges.
• Incorporating Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies, and cutting-edge methodologies into teaching and learning processes.
• Participating in research, innovation, and knowledge-generation projects with academic and technological impact.
• Developing and strengthening projects related to software, AI/ML, digital products, information systems, and digital transformation.
• Designing and updating courses, certificates, and academic programs in strategic areas of Computer Science.
• Promoting engagement with organizations and industry partners to create applied projects and professional experiences for students.
• Participating in conferences, publications, collaborative projects, and other activities that contribute to academic and scientific recognition.
• Collaborating with faculty members, program directors, and other areas of the institution to strengthen our students' educational experience.

3. What do you need?

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred: Degree earned from a Top 50 university worldwide; minimum Top 100.
• 3+ years of experience in teaching, academia, research, technology development, consulting, or digital product management.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Systems, Data Processing, or Digital Product Development.
• Experience in designing and developing technology solutions, systems integration, or managing the digital product lifecycle.
• Ability to integrate AI and emerging technologies into technology solutions and educational experiences.
• Experience in curriculum design, course development, or educational innovation will be highly valued.
• Knowledge or experience in cloud computing, cybersecurity, agile methodologies, UX/UI, or Design Thinking will be considered a plus.
• Professional certifications in relevant technologies, such as Cloud, AI/ML, or other technology platforms, will be valued.
• Interest in developing a high-impact academic career, with participation in research, publications, conferences, and innovation projects.
• Leadership, proactivity, self-management, collaboration, and adaptability .
• Ability to manage multiple projects and build collaborative relationships with students, faculty members, and external organizations.
