Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Tabular Analysis team. You will contribute across the full stack, from backend processing to the lawyers' UI, helping build tools that answer legal questions with source traceability.

You will work with senior engineers, gain ownership early, and apply AI tooling to accelerate delivery while learning the product and systems at pace.

Qualifications

• Professional software engineering experience delivering production code in a modern language.
• Strength in either frontend or backend development with desire to grow the other side.
• Experience integrating and consuming APIs in a cloud environment.
• Practical use of AI developer tooling and ability to judge its usefulness.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end features from requirements to production with guidance.
• Develop across frontend, backend, and data layers with attention to performance and security.
• Leverage AI tooling to enhance your own work and contribute AI capabilities to the product.
• Learn core services behind the product and share knowledge across the team.
• Diagnose code, perform root cause analysis, and address production issues.
• Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD practices for reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with Product and cross-team partners; communicate effectively in writing.
