BD Reynosa is seeking a software developer to collaborate with the development team to specify, plan, design, develop, test, validate and support software components as assigned. The role requires translating design requirements into well-structured, documented components and implementing new designs or improvements.

You will troubleshoot and debug existing automation systems, participate in developer meetings, and contribute to team goals while maintaining initiative and strong problem-solving

Formación

• Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of agile software development experience.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the development team to specify, plan, design, develop, test, validate and support software components as assigned.
• Responsible for translating design requirements into well-structured and documented software components.
• Implement new designs or improvements to existing software products; participate in subsystems and more complex systems.
• Troubleshoot/debug issues within existing automation systems and implement changes to resolve them.
• Actively participate in developer meetings.
• Work to achieve team objectives and work effectively in a team environment.
• Develop effort estimation skills.
• Demonstrate technical curiosity and continuously improve coding abilities.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Description / Funciones y Responsabilidades

• Colaborar con el equipo de desarrollo para especificar, planificar, diseñar, desarrollar, probar, validar y brindar soporte a los componentes del software de acuerdo con lo que se le asigne.
• Es responsable de traducir los requisitos del diseño y la implementación de los componentes del software que sean bien estructurados y documentados.
• Implementar los nuevos diseños de los componentes del software o mejoras en los productos de software existentes; participar en la implementación de subsistemas y sistemas más complejos.
• Solucionar/depurar problemas dentro de los sistemas de automatización existentes e implementar modificaciones para resolver estos problemas.
• Participar activamente en reuniones, por ejemplo, reuniones de los desarrolladores.
• Trabajar para alcanzar los objetivos del equipo y trabajar eficazmente en un entorno de quipo.
• Desarrollar habilidades de estimación de esfuerzos.
• Tiene curiosidad técnica y mejora continuamente sus habilidades de codificación.
• Realizar otras tareas que se le asignen.

Requisitos

• Preferentemente Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Computación o una disciplina y experiencia relacionada.
• Entre 1 y 3 años de experiencia en desarrollo de software ágil.
• Conocimiento del proceso de desarrollo de software.
• Tiene que ser capaz de trabajar de forma independiente, tener iniciativa, estar altamente motivado y poder trabajar con una mínima supervisión.
• Habilidades efectivas en pensamiento analítico, resolución de problemas, relaciones interpersonales, comunicación escrita y oral.
• Capacidad demostrada para seguir políticas y procedimientos establecidos.
• Conocimiento de un ambiente industrial/regulado altamente deseable.
• Fluidez en los idiomas inglés y español (escrito, leído y oral).
