Position

Front Desk Supervisor is a key element of the Front Office operations team. You will work alongside line staff and may act as manager on duty when managers are not available (including overnight shift coverage). You will respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing needs and adding personal recommendations to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with Four Seasons policies.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Resort Assistant Managers in overseeing the rooms division, focusing on supporting / working alongside Guest Experience Agents throughout a shift

  • Cover manager on duty shifts that may include overnight

  • Assist in blocking rooms for arrivals and resolve any discrepancies; review daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, VIP Guests and Groups

  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests where possible; resolve complaints; assist guests with inquiries about hotel services, hours of operations, key personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.; respond to guest requests in person, by phone, FS Chat and by email

  • Check guests in and out in an efficient and friendly manner; ensure correct room type and rate; arrange luggage delivery; issue keys; check out guests; assess guest satisfaction; post charges and present bills; settle payments

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a Luxury Hotel

  • Self-driven and a strategic resourcing professional

  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Good team spirit, multi-tasking, cooperative with strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Spanish and English

  • Ability to operate computer and office equipment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Able to multitask and prioritize workload and projects
