Marsh invites applications for a Financial & Planning Specialist - LAC based in Mexico City. You will support forecasting, budgeting, and analysis across the organization, delivering data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.

The role requires strong financial modeling, Advanced Excel, and excellent communication, with English proficiency and a collaborative mindset to work with Field FP&A teams and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, industrial engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably in multinational companies.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholders management skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
• Collaborate mindset to enable effective partnership with Field FP&A Team and business.
• Advanced English skills both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze KPI trends, including sales, expenses, and profit margin.
• Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances; review and conduct simple analysis of financial planning information and reports and make recommendations.
• Support the management team and Department Leaders with data-driven analysis.
• Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives.
• Assist in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad-hoc business performance reporting.
• Evaluate financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns.
• Prepare financial presentations using a variety of formats, displays, reproduction of charts, graphs, and econometric models.
• Assist in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; track and report initiatives.
• Prepare financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Update financial databases through entering, verifying and securing data.
• Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts.
