About the role

As FP&A Associate Director, you will serve as a strategic finance partner for a $4B business, providing financial insights, planning, and analysis to drive performance and support decision‑making. You will lead the consolidation and coordination of financial plans across 11 sub‑business units, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and delivering accurate, timely, and actionable reporting to senior leadership. Your work will directly impact profitability, operational efficiency, and strategic growth for North America CHVAC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range planning for the $4B business.
  • Consolidating inputs from 11 sub‑business units, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Developing scenario analyses and sensitivity models to support strategic decisions.
  • Monitoring and analyzing monthly financial results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Preparing executive‑level presentations for leadership reviews.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing financial guidance and support.
  • Collaborating cross‑functionally with operations, sales, and corporate finance teams.
  • Driving alignment between sub‑business units and overall North America CHVAC strategy.
  • Enhancing FP&A processes, tools, and reporting for scalability and efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
  • Championing best practices in financial planning and analysis across the organization.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance roles, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA).
  • Experience in a large, complex, multi‑business unit organization.
  • Knowledge of ERP and financial planning systems (SAP, Hyperion, etc.).
