A healthcare technology company based in Tijuana, Mexico, is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst. The role involves supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields, 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, and are proficient in Excel. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are necessary, as well as strong analytical abilities and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Formación

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
  • Experience in a maquiladora environment or with U.S.-based companies is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Responsabilidades

  • Assist with monthly financial close processes and prepare reporting packages.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for business performance evaluation.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly financial forecasts.
  • Support the annual budget process collaborating with department leaders.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation of reporting tools.

Position Overview

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will play an important role in supporting the finance function through budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Based in Tijuana, Mexico, the analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams—both locally and the US—to provide financial insights that drive strategic business decisions.

This position requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling proficiency, and the ability to interpret data to support business performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Assist with monthly financial close processes and prepare reporting packages for regional or global finance teams
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and support decision-making
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and business risks/opportunities
  • Analyze actual vs. budget/forecast results and provide actionable insights
  • Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly financial forecasts and variance analysis
  • Support the annual budget process, collaborating with department leaders across operations, supply chain, and corporate
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation of reporting tools (Excel, QAD, Planful)
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus)
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance (manufacturing experience is highly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems
  • Advanced English
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a bilingual (English/Spanish) and multicultural environment
  • Experience in a maquiladora environment or working with U.S.-based parent companies is highly valued
  • Must be comfortable communicating financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
