Inteva Products is seeking an experienced FMEA Moderator in Santiago de Querétaro. The role involves planning, conducting, and monitoring FMEA processes to ensure quality in product development.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years of experience in the automotive sector and be fluent in both Spanish and English. Strong communication skills and adaptability for business travel are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and conducts activities within its area in an effective manner towards achieving common objectives of as the Inteva Products.
• Report deviations and take actions to achieve the objectives set out in D-FMEA´s.
• Monitoring of the CC/SC requirements in the product throughout the development lifecycle from cradle to grave.
• Trains the plant P-FMEA Moderators in the structure and systematic of the foundation FMEAs
• Facilitation and further development of a uniform and group-wide procedure for the creation and processing of FMEA´s
• Supporting the development teams in the creation of new design FMEA's
• Further development of the methodology for FMEA
• Preparation and follow-up of FMEA meetings
• Presentation of the FMEA to the customer and to the internal design review committee
• Quick identification of faults to avoid customer complaints and save costs
• Support the program team in the communication / presentation of FMEA progress to internal and external customer
• Introduction and implementation of the new FMEA tools (seven-step approach, new assessment catalogue for significance, occurrence and detection, assessment and quantification of risks using task priority AP)
• Support of customer / legal claims on D-FMEA belongings
• Close interaction with internal Product Conformity Representative (PCR) and Product Safety Representative (PSR).

Requirements

• Successful completion of an engineering degree, technician training or comparable
• Five years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive sector
• Sound professional experience as an FMEA moderator/coordinator (m/f/d) (design and product FMEA)
• Ideally in the automotive environment
• Experienced in using FMEA software APIS IQ
• Training as a moderator
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Adaptability in the location of work including business travel
