Job Overview

We are looking for a Flavorist to join our team and support the Flavors business in Tlalnepantla. The Flavorist will need to have solid experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies for the company’s products. Works closely with several other departments, including Applications Labs and Sales. Will be responsible for managing projects with account managers for Flavors BU’s to drive matching Savory flavors.

What you’ll do

• Knowledge of the regulations, FDA, CODEX, FEMA, European Community and Mexican standards, both for additives as a finished product.
• Knowledge and application of sensory evaluation methods.
• Management of staff on specific projects.
• Good communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge in the Protocol of scaling of flavors, and process experience.
• Delegation of responsibilities for the achievement of projects.
• Knowledge of chromatography and methods of analysis.
• Creativity and experience in matching savory flavors.
• Prioritizes projects based on business impact and customer needs.

What you’ll bring

• 5–10 years of experience.
• Expert in development of savory flavors, liquids, powders and emulsions and their different processes (mixes physical, dried by spraying, reaction flavors, emulsions, false dried, extrusions, flavors of reaction, extracts, etc.).
• Expert in creation in all kinds of flavors (seasonings, savory, seeds or dark, etc.).
• Engineer in food, chemical, in QFB (with training in food).
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
