Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Finished Maintenance Supervisor for its El Carmen Manufacturing Facility. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, plan schedules, and drive maintenance programs to minimize downtime on the production line.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, manage spare parts and budget, ensure safety and quality standards, and coordinate with production and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years in maintenance in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and conveyors.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive safety and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Coordinate with production and quality control departments to prioritize maintenance activities and ensure seamless operations.


• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and budget for maintenance operations.


• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, IATF).


• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for work order tracking, historical data analysis, and reporting.


• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.


• Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment or modifications to existing machinery.


• Prepare detailed reports on maintenance performance, equipment breakdowns, and cost analysis.

Job Qualifications

Required Skills and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.


• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (PLC, VFDs, motor controls), mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems), and automation.


• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.


• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.


• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
