Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Facilities Supervisor for its El Carmen Manufacturing Facility in Mexico to oversee daily operations and maintenance, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for production activities.

You will supervise a team of facilities technicians and contractors, coordinate preventative maintenance programs, and manage budgets while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in facilities maintenance or management, with supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of facilities technicians, maintenance staff, and contractors.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests and facility-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential problems or hazards.
• Manage and monitor facility budgets, including procurement of supplies, equipment, and services.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and expenditures.
• Participate in the development and implementation of facility improvement projects and initiatives.
• Provide emergency response support for facility-related incidents.
