Job summary

The British American Tobacco Group in Monterrey is seeking a Planning Intern to support financial planning, reporting, and expenditure monitoring. You will analyze actual results, review forecasts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve analytical tools and evaluation processes.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in finance/economics, have 30 hours per week, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, advanced English, and experience with SAP ECC/EPM and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ECC, EPM, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance.
• Experience working with databases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze actual financial results against forecasts.
• Review forecast accuracy and identify variances between reporting periods.
• Monitor budgets and coordinate with budget owners.
• Maintain and create financial master data.
• Support accounting-related processes.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations to support business decision-making.
• Assist with financial projects within the Planning area.
• Propose and support initiatives to improve analytical tools and results evaluation processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, HR, Facilities, Operations Finance, CORA, and GBS stakeholders as needed.
