AXA Partners in Mexico City is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to turn data into strategic decisions. You will lead long-range plans, budgets, and forecasts, and drive the Monthly Business Review with clear narratives.

You will build models for stress tests, perform scenario analysis, and deliver executive-ready reports and dashboards. Collaboration across functions, data quality, and mentoring teammates are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Strong budgeting, variance analysis, modeling and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and advanced financial tools; English fluency.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the development and management of multi-year financial plans, annual budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Drive the Monthly Business Review process by analyzing data, identifying variances, and crafting compelling narratives to inform decision-making.
• Build and utilize financial models to perform stress tests, scenario planning, and risk assessments that guide strategic initiatives.
• Synthesize complex data into clear, impactful reports and dashboards for executive audiences.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve data quality, streamline reporting processes, and support operational decisions.
• Create tailored ad‑hoc reports to meet the specific needs of stakeholders across the organization.
• Maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and security of financial data, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support the growth and development of team members by mentoring and sharing best practices.

What you’ll bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles, preferably within insurance, finance, or consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and advanced financial tools; fluency in English is essential.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, strategic mindset, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into clear insights.Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making.
• Proactive, organized, and committed to continuous improvement.
