Sensata Technologies in Mexico is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst responsible for forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analyzing the company’s finance and expenses.

You will forecast, report, and track metrics, build financial models for decision support, and prepare leadership reviews to drive improvements.

The role requires a degree, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Formación

The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for a variety of aspects including forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analyzing the company’s finance and expenses.

General Responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
