Position Title: Financial Controller

Work Set Up: Work From Home

Schedule: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PH Time

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

We are seeking a Financial Controller who combines deep financial expertise with a modern, tech-driven mindset. This role will lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, and strategic planning, across a diverse portfolio encompassing real estate development, property management, construction, hospitality, and nonprofit entities.

The ideal candidate is both AI native and process-oriented, capable of leveraging technology to automate workflows, enhance financial visibility, and support data-informed decision-making. This individual will play a key role in ensuring financial discipline and supporting the organizations mission of regenerative placemaking and sustainable development.

What Youll Do:
  • Oversee financial operations, including general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Develop and implement AI-driven financial systems and automation tools to streamline accounting workflows.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and audit requirements across multiple entities.

  • Manage construction and real estate accounting, including cost tracking, project-based reporting, and cash flow analysis.

  • Supervise and optimize AR/AP processes, ensuring timely billing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliation.

  • Support strategic planning and capital allocation decisions with data-backed insights.

  • Lead and mentor accounting staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate closely with leadership to align financial practices with organizational goals and sustainability values.

What Were Looking For:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management, with exposure to real estate, construction, or nonprofit sectors.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI tools and accounting automation software (e.g., Yardi, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of project accounting, fund accounting, and multi-entity consolidations.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strategic foresight.

  • Excellent English communication skillsboth written and verbal.
