Corning Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support plant financial processes and ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

You will partner with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to analyze costs, assist in closing activities, prepare reconciliations, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting. Requires 1–2 years of relevant experience and a degree in Accounting/Finance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP and internal financial controls.
• Experience with SAP; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or cost accounting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly and periodic closing activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and general ledger accuracy.
• Prepare account reconciliations, financial reports, and quarterly reporting packages accurately and timely.
• Help maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, GAAP principles, and company policies.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to support cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
