Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks a Financial Analyst to support plant financial processes, reporting, and internal controls in a manufacturing environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze expenses, support closing, prepare reconciliations, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting using SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint. 1–2 years of relevant experience and a solid grounding in US GAAP are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls
• Experience with SAP, as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with different stakeholders, including plant leadership
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in manufacturing and/or cost accounting is preferred

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly and periodic closing activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and general ledger accuracy
• Prepare account reconciliations, financial reports, and quarterly reporting packages in a timely and accurate manner
• Help maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, GAAP principles, and company policies

What is your role?

As a Financial Analyst, you will support the plant’s financial processes by helping ensure accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and strong internal controls. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to analyze expenses, support closing activities, prepare reconciliations, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly and periodic closing activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and general ledger accuracy
• Prepare account reconciliations, financial reports, and quarterly reporting packages in a timely and accurate manner
• Help maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, GAAP principles, and company policies

Experiences/Education - Required
