Flowserve, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Mexico) seeks a Financial Analyst to evaluate financial data, support business decisions, and monitor accounting processes under US GAAP and local standards. The role emphasizes accuracy in cost analysis, backlog reporting, and monthly reconciliations.

The candidate will work with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP), Excel at an advanced level, and ensure SOX compliance while supporting statutory accounts and IFRS/GAAP knowledge.

Formación

• Advanced Excel with PivotTables and VLOOKUPs required.
• Familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP and SOX.
• Experience with ERP systems and consolidated reporting.
• Manufacturing sector experience is highly desirable.
• Microsoft Access knowledge is valuable.
• BS or BA degree and 3-5 years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Cost analysis and reporting of project costing, gross margin analysis, direct charges, inventory evaluation.
• Bookings and backlog: review and report proper net Backlog values on a monthly basis.
• Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and P&L in accordance to US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Sox and Audit: maintain Sox compliance with Group Accounting Policies, Statutory Accounting Principles and Local regulations.
• Statutory Accounts: support for the Annual Financial Statement preparation.

Role Summary

The Financial Analyst examines financial data and uses their findings to help the company to make business decisions. More specifically, the Financial Analysts research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals to make predictions about businesses, sectors, and industries.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Cost Analysis and Reporting: review and analysis of project costing, gross margin analysis, direct charges, inventory evaluation.
• Bookings and Backlog: review and report proper net Backlog values on a monthly basis.
• Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and P&L in accordance to US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Sox and Audit: maintain Sox compliance with Group Accounting Policies, Statutory Accounting Principles and Legal/Fiscal local regulations.
• Statutory Accounts: support for the Annual Financial Statement preparation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Extensive Excel 2010 knowledge including advanced functions with Excel required (Pivot tables, Vlook ups, etc)
• Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations
• Experience with structured ERP, Oracle or SAP and consolidated reporting systems.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access is valuable
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
